7 died in helicopter crash in Kaduna

A Nigeria Air Force helicopter crash into Ribadu Cantonment at about 6.45am today killing seven people on board  who were on their way to Abuja. The helicopter has four crew members and three passengers on board before it crash into a residential building few minutes after take off. Thankfully, there were no resident in the building at the time of the crash.

Alhaji Musa Ilallah , the North West Zonal Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed the crash and he said the report of the crash got to them and they immediately reach out to unit such as the Red Cross, Civil Defense Corps, Fire Service etc.
According to him, the remains of the dead were in pieces and has been moved to the Air Force Base Hospital and that the Air Force Authourities are investigating the cause of the crash.
