Former Governor Akpabio in Credit Card Embarrassment.

The former governor of Akwa Ibom State who has a seat in the national Assembly has had his fill of embarrassment at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, London where his credit card was decline when he tried checking into the five star luxury hotel.


The former governor who claimed to have built a multi-million dollar world class hospital in Uyo was said to be in the UK to receive treatment after the accident that occur between his bullet proof G-wagon Benz which collided with an American Embassy diplomatic vehicle in the FCT due to his driver failing to observe traffic sign (he beats the stop traffic light).
When asked by SR why he didn't check into his acclaimed world class hospital, in his home state for the required treatment, he said that his expected doctors is not in the country (Nigeria) due to immigration process.
Senator Akpabio told SR that the declined in his credit card was due to its (credit card) reaching its max daily spending limit for which he use on the Four Season Luxury hotel earlier in the day.
