Former President Olusegun Obasanjo confirm that he was involved in an accident.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday spoke on his accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday, while on his way to attend the 80th birthday of billionaire businessman Chief Kensington Adebutu in Lagos. 
The accident was caused by a burst tyre resulting in a swerved several times until the vehicle did a 180 degree turn and he had to change car. 
Obasanjo told the public in a statement made by his media aide Vitalis Ortese that he is hale and  hearty and he thank the general public for their prayers and concern for him. His aide said he is currently away in Abidjan, Cote Ivory where he is observing the Presidential Election holding in that country.
