Fayose Blasts APC For The Protest Call For His Resignation.

In Ado Ekiti, on Friday, June 24, there was a march protest against the Governor by a coalition of civil society organisations and the Conference of Nigeria Political Parties.

The protest was as a result of the delay in the payment of workers' salaries in the state, Governor Fayose said his administration is doing its best as the state had been plunged into a huge debt before he assumption of office

The Governor disclosed that N1.2 billion is deducted by creditors on monthly basis from the allocation of the state.

Fayose has held the All Progressive Congress(APC) in the state responsible for the protest calling for his resignation. He further said, the call for his resignation is “laughable and absolute balder dash”
