Sierra Keonean Ambassador Kidnapped In Kaduna, Nigeria.

The Sierra-Leonean Ambassador to Nigeria, Major Gen. Nelson Williams (rtd), was on Friday morning kidnapped by unknown gunmen along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.

The Nation gathered that the ambassador was abducted on his way to Jaji, Kaduna, where he will attend the graduation ceremony of Senior Course at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC).
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo attended the graduation ceremony.
The graduation ceremony for Command and Staff College’s Senior Course is an annual event, marking the completion of a 12- month training programme for senior military officers drawn from Nigerian Armed Forces and other ECOWAS countries, including Sierra-Leone.
Although, the Kaduna police public relations officer did not respond to several calls to his mobile line, unconfirmed report said the envoy was abducted before getting to Kaduna.
