The Department of State Service made a statement this weekend that they have discovered a spy cell run by Boko Haram at the Abuja international airport.  The DSS spokesman Mr.Tony Opuiyo said they have arrested a 14 year old boy who said he had been instructed to spy, study and report his findings of the the airport security procedures which includes boarding process and passengers screening.

A Nigeria Air Force helicopter crash into Ribadu Cantonment at about 6.45am today killing seven people on board  who were on their way to Abuja. The helicopter has four crew members and three passengers on board before it crash into a residential building few minutes after take off. Thankfully, there were no resident in the building at the time of the crash.

An Egyptian judge has of today sentenced three Al-jazeerea's journalist to three years in prison for operating without a press license and broadcasting material harmful to Egypt.  The Egyptian judge Hassan Farid said that the three journalist whose names are; Mohamed Fahmy, a naturalized Canadian who has given up his Egyptian citizen, Baher Mohamed, an Egyptian  and Peter Greste who is an Australian who was deported in February and sentenced in absentia was not registered with the country's journalist syndicate and that they brought into Egypt equipment without the approval of security officials as well as spreading 'false news' using a hotel as a broadcasting point without permission.

England - Chelsea the all famous club popularly known as the blues is making moves to sack Mourhino and replaces him with Diego Simeone after losing to Crystal Palace 1-2. this unusual report is suggesting that Roman Abramovich is unhappy with Mourhino's inability to win the match against Crystal Palace and believe Diego is in a better position to take the team forward.  Simeone Mourhino Sky Sport seems to suggest that Abramovich, The Blues owner has doubt about Mourhino taking the club to the top and believes that Diego can bring the much needed change. Although Abramovich believes he has a better chance of convincing the Argentine to make a move to Stamford Bridge, it is suggested that Diego has a release clause in his contract that has not yet expired.

In Lagos, members of the NDLEA storms  Arik Airline after the information that of one Arik attendant identify as Chika Egwu Udensi was arrested on Monday in London by United Kingdom Border Force for being in possession of 20kilogram of cocaine worth 350,000 pounds (N105m).    Although, it is not the first time for Arik crew member to be involve in such shady deals, a similar occurrence was in 2013. A statement by the airline spokesman said that the airline is committed to fight against drug and illicit substance and that the airline carries thorough checks on all members of  staff and its travelling guests before any flight take off.

A blogger name Seun Oloketuyi was yesterday in Lagos arrested by the Police Special Fraud Unit for defaming the Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo over impregnating one Justina who is working in the marketing department of the bank.

Mr Elias Mbam who is the chairman of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation And Fiscal Commission (RMFAC) said that the commission is commencing a bill to the trimming down of salaries of all elected officer as well as appointed officers from the federal level to the local government level to suit the present economy of the nation.  Mbam said that the president had advice that all legitimate means be adopted to ensure that public officers take home their renumeration as determined by the commission. .   For me, i think its about time for this change.

The veteran comedian Bill Cosby has further added to three more women to his list of sexual assault. these women whose names are, Linda Ridgeway (an aspiring actress at that time), Collen Hughes (a former American Airline flight attendant) and  Eden Tiri (a former model and guest-starring with Bill in one of his set)said Cosby assaulted them sexually in the early 70's and late 80's on "The Cosby Show" set. More than forty women has come forward accusing the 78 years old comedian of drugging and sexual assault.
