Modu Sheriff Sacked By Court As PDP Chairman

An Abuja High Court sitting at Apo yesterday sacked the factional chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff, from office. Alimodu-Sheriff But Modu Sheriff in a swift reaction to the judgement last night, said he remained the chairman of the PDP.

Ex- Minister Maduekwe Dies At 71

  A former Minister, diplomat and politician, Chief Ojo Maduekwe is dead. He was 71. The ex-minister was said to be at the airport to receive one of his children who graduated with honours abroad, where he suddenly developed health complications and was rushed to a private hospital in Asokoro District in Abuja.

235,000 Jobs Creations By Dangote Refinery, Others

The refinery and fertiliser projects of Dangote Industries Limited is expected to create a minimum of 235,000 new jobs both direct and indirect, when it becomes operational in the first quarter of 2019. President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote who revealed this also stated that the projects will cost a minimum of $17billion.

Spainsih Government Deported 11 Nigerians

On Friday 24 th June, 11 Nigerians was deported from Spain on the ground of committing immigration related offences and other criminal acts in their host country. It was recorded by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), that barely 48 hours, 41 Nigerians were deported from the United States of America for similar reasons.
